WHAT DESIRES US?

HISTORY

My name is Takiel Gibson and I am the owner of Dental Desires! Brushing our teeth when we wake up and before we go to bed every day from adolescence to adulthood has always remained a chore which is why over 57% of adolescents and 26% of adults in the United States have untreated dental diseases. Dental Desires plans to launch innovative toothpaste flavors to bring the fun in dental hygiene for children and adults while also providing more jobs for low-income individuals! We are currently seeking funding to launch our innovative toothpaste flavors such as Red-Velvet, Pina Colada, and many others to increase the use and motivation for dental hygiene across the United States and eventually, the world! I grew up living in the poverty of Baltimore. I’ve always loved engineering and creating things, but it was a struggle to express this love due to the lack of funding at my Baltimore City high school. It was so poor that we couldn't afford a Spanish or a Chemistry teacher and by the end of my sophomore year, the school was eventually shut down. But lucky for me, that was the same year my family moved to Essex where I was able to graduate from a stem academy as this school gave me a chance to create so many opportunities for my STEM future. For instance, I built an Electrical car and used it to race at the 5th Annual RFK Electrical Car Grand Prix. This experience had made me even more motivated to be successful for my family. Until the day I started attending McDaniel College which inspired me to give back to the community! When I was a child, I hated brushing my teeth and with a child’s sweet tooth, every dental visit involved cavity fillings. Our goal is to bring the fun in dental hygiene for children and adults while also providing more jobs and money into Maryland. With our office and manufacturing buildings residing in Maryland. Our goal is to lower the Unemployment Rate in Maryland below 5%.

Brushing our teeth when we wake up and before we go to bed everyday from adolescence to adulthood has always remained a chore. Dental Desires' goal is to issue a new era of brushing our teeth without the boring traditional taste. With our innovative toothpaste flavors such as Red-Velvet, Pina Colada, and many others, Our goal is to increase the use and motivation for dental hygiene across the United States and eventually, the world!
